About President’s Challenge

The President’s Challenge was launched in 2000 by then-President Mr S R Nathan, to rally Singaporeans to build a more caring and cohesive society, and to help our communities in need. The President’s Challenge, refreshed from 2025, aims to promote a culture of unity and respect for all.

When will I receive my apparel and medal if I order during the Early Bird period?

If you place your order before 8 July 2025, 12:00 PM (GMT+8), your apparel will be delivered before National Day (9 August 2025) to Singapore addresses. If you complete at least 60KM during the event, your medal will be delivered 4–6 weeks after the event ends. For international deliveries, please allow an additional 2–3 weeks for both apparel and medal.

What if I order the merch after the Early Bird deadline?

Orders placed after 8 July 2025, 12:00 PM (GMT+8) will be delivered 4–6 weeks after the event ends, together with the finisher medal if you complete at least 60KM. For international deliveries, please allow an additional 2–3 weeks.

When will I receive my finisher medal?

If you complete at least 60KM during the event, your medal will be delivered 4–6 weeks after the event ends. International deliveries may take an additional 2–3 weeks.

How is my donation allocated?

95% of your donation supports the President’s Challenge and its beneficiaries. The remaining 5% helps cover Stripe transaction fees and Togoparts’ operational costs.

Can I claim tax deduction for my donation?

Yes, to enjoy 250% tax deduction, you must provide your Singapore Tax Reference Number (e.g., NRIC, FIN, or UEN, where applicable). Only individuals residing in Singapore are eligible.

How much of my donation is eligible for tax deduction?

Only the 95% of your donation that goes to the President’s Challenge is eligible for a 250% tax deduction. The tax receipt—reflecting this eligible amount—will be provided by the President’s Challenge after the event ends.

Do any dollar amounts mentioned on the website refer to SGD ?

Yes, all dollar amounts mentioned on the website refer to SGD (Singapore Dollar).

What is the Finisher Distance for #TOGOSG60?

In celebration of Singapore’s 60th National Day, the minimum Finisher Distance for #TOGOSG60 is 60KM. This year, participants also have the flexibility to set a higher personal goal if they wish to go beyond 60KM.

What activity types are recognized for this challenge?

We only recognise RIDE, Mountain Bike Ride, Gravel Ride, Run, Walk, and Hike (for Outdoor) as STRAVA activity types for this challenge.

Can I measure my distance using other apps or devices?

We require all participants to log their activities using STRAVA. You can use other tracking apps like Garmin and upload your activities to STRAVA. If you have logged your activities with another app and not STRAVA, the system will not recognise uploaded activities. Can I tag my friends on my activities?

No, tagging of activities are not allowed. Each participant must record their activities via their own STRAVA account.
